Primary Responsibilities

Deal Sourcing

  • Support thematic deal generation — building target lists, coordinating outbound outreach campaigns, and helping screen inbound opportunities
  • Develop relationships with long-tail intermediaries over time for both platform and add-on deal sourcing
  • Support preparation for external BD activities (city visits, industry conferences, and networking events)
  • Leverage AI tools to increase efficiency across sourcing workflows including list building, contact enrichment, and market research

Marketing & Communications

  • Own creation and ongoing management of BD marketing materials — including thematic collateral, firm one-pagers, and deal sourcing materials
  • Lead firm marketing initiatives and own digital presence across LinkedIn, press releases, and our website to ensure consistent, brand-aligned messaging

Data Management & Reporting

  • Own data management within DealCloud to ensure accurate reporting — working closely with the executive admin team to maintain accurate records for all origination activity across the firm
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting views that give the team clear visibility into pipeline health and deal flow trends
  • Manage data aggregation across AI/technology platforms
  • Contribute to internal pipeline reviews, track outreach effectiveness, and surface process improvement recommendations to senior BD leadership

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred; prior exposure to private equity, investment banking, M&A, or a related financial services environment strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency with CRMs and genuine enthusiasm for data quality; prior DealCloud experience is a plus
  • Working familiarity with AI tools and how they can be applied to sourcing and BD workflows
  • Strong organizational skills, impeccable attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication
