JOB PURPOSE:
Under the general supervision of the Building/Grounds Supervisor, this position will be responsible for skilled horticulture work on the Department of Juvenile Justice property to include pruning, planting, troubleshooting and general work regarding maintenance. Responsible for ensuring all equipment assigned is maintained in working condition and assists in basic repairs of equipment.JOB RESPONSABILITIES:
Responsible for general grounds maintenance across the property of the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (SCDJJ) such as mowing, trimming, and blowing off of hard surfaces.STATE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma and custodial or groundskeeping experience directly related to the area of employment.Must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 years of age.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
