To work as part of our Services Team to provide CAD/BIM support to engineering projects. The successful candidate’s role will be as an MEP Revit Technician within the WSP India in our Bangalore/Noida office producing BIM models and detailed engineering designs and construction drawings. You can expect to be active on several projects at any given time. You will report to CAD/BIM Manager in Project functionally and reporting to Line manager operationally.
- Prepare MEP 3D Revit Model in LOD-350/400/500
- Coordinate models with other MEP services, Architectural and Structural model.
- Clash detection and clash resolution
- Create Parametric Revit Families and Dynamo script.
- Provide specialist support to design teams preparing analysis and design models
- Support design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualisations
- Support design teams and bid teams with creation of 4D models / visualisations
- Prepare quantities for use in BoQs from the 3D model.
Key Competencies / Skills:
Experience in the use of the following software is essential:
- REVIT MEP
- AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
- Navisworks
- Dynamo script
Experience in the use of the following software is desirable but not essential:
- Autodesk 3ds MAX
- MS Excel
- MS Word
- MicroStation.
The candidate must:
- Have good English communication skills.
- Ability to access the time requirement for completion of the task.
- Be able to work closely with colleagues at a senior level.
- Be computer literate.
- Have a valid passport and be prepared to be seconded for up to 3 months as projects dictate (base will be Bangalore/Noida).
- Ability to plan and manage his/her workload
- Lateral thinking and knowledge in other MEP services.
- Ability to understand own limitations and limitations of the software being used
