Billing and Operations Specialist
Overview
The Billing and Operations Specialist supports accurate lease billing and transaction processing, working closely with Accounting, Collections, and internal stakeholders. This role focuses on customer-specific invoicing, lease setup, and process coordination within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process ongoing and specialized lease invoicing accurately and on time in customer-required formats
- Maintain and update billing details within the lease system, including purchase orders, contacts, and delivery methods
- Upload or update invoicing data in customer procurement portals
- Prepare billing reports using reporting tools
- Review lease documentation, set accounting parameters, and book new lease transactions
- Resolve billing questions through collaboration with internal teams
Qualifications
- Billing or accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred, not required
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter able to manage priorities in a high-volume environment
- Comfortable learning and using multiple systems and applications
