As a Beauty Client Advisor at Printemps New York, you will specialize in skincare and makeup, representing the face of our luxury beauty department and providing exceptional service and expertise to our clients.


Your role will focus on creating a personalized and memorable shopping experience, building lasting relationships, and representing the high standards of the Printemps. With your knowledge of skincare and makeup products, trends, and luxury service, you will inspire and guide clients to discover the best products to meet their unique needs.


This position is dedicated to skincare and makeup, requiring strong product expertise, a passion for beauty, and the ability to deliver personalized consultations and recommendations that enhance the client experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Sales

  • Provide a high level of personalized service to clients throughout the entire sales process.
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate skincare and makeup products and solutions.
  • Share product knowledge and brand expertise with clients in an engaging and professional manner.
  • Conduct personalized beauty consultations and product demonstrations.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall department and store KPIs.
  • Monitor personal sales performance and proactively work toward daily and monthly goals.


Client Experience & Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Deliver a welcoming and elevated in-store experience that reflects the Printemps brand.
  • Utilize company CRM tools to capture client information and support client development initiatives.
  • Participate in clienteling activities including outreach, follow-ups, and personalized services to strengthen client loyalty.
  • Stay informed on beauty trends, new product launches, and industry developments to provide expert guidance to clients.


Operations

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing beauty environment in accordance with company standards.
  • Support merchandising guidelines and assist with inventory management as needed.
  • Ensure skincare and makeup displays are fully stocked, well-presented, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Operate the cash register and assist with daily sales reconciliation procedures.
  • Complete assigned operational and administrative tasks in a timely manner.
  • Maintain professional grooming standards in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Handle and move merchandise safely when required.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in luxury retail, beauty, skincare, makeup, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong passion for skincare and makeup.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build lasting client relationships and drive sales performance.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury retail environment while maintaining exceptional service standards.
