Bankruptcy Attorney

We are working with a prestigious North Carolina law firm who is seeking a mid-level Corporate Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Associate Attorney. Preferred candidates would have three to five years of corporate restructuring and complex commercial bankruptcy experience, which may include a Bankruptcy Court clerkship. Prior experience in finance transactions encouraged. Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent academic credentials. • 3-5 years with Financial Services capacity
• The blocking and tackling of spotting issues in a lending document and documenting them correctly and raising them. Engage with the backdrop of an insolvency.
• Great opportunity for the strategic associate as some of the partners are at various stages in their career and starting to step back.
• Would consider lawyers with experience in the Financial Services practice of an AM Law firm and know how to do front-end banking deals.
• More emphasis on representing creditors side rather than debtor side.
