Job Title: B-Shift Slitter Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a B-Shift Slitter Operator, working from 6pm to 6:15am on a rotating schedule including every other Saturday. You will be responsible for reading a bill of materials, performing machine setups, threading film into the machine, setting blades to the proper width, and programming the machine for length, speed, and tension. Your role will include taking products off the machine, stacking them in containers, and sending them to shipping.

Responsibilities

• Set up the leader table with proper tapes, leaders, and trailers.
• Retrieve the proper cores from inventory.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of the machine, including adjusting speed, winding tension, and brake tension.
• Recover film breaks by stopping the machine, cutting broken film, and re-threading machines.
• Complete quality checks using calipers.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude or experience in machine operation or manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
• Skill in performing machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in slitting, roll-to-roll, conversion, paper cutting, labeling, or film handling is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled and comfortable manufacturing facility. Dress code includes steel toe boots, blue jeans or Cintas pants without holes, and a solid-colored shirt. Shorts are also permitted.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hebron, KY.

The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $21.75/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hebron,KY.

This position is anticipated to close on May 12, 2026.
