Summary
Our Cary, NC office is seeking a motivated and collaborative Revit Designer to support our Instrumentation & Controls team. This individual will join a high-performing group of engineers and technical professionals, contributing to innovative design solutions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment focused on excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Instrumentation and Controls deliverables for different design phases based on P&ID’s, specifications, standards, codes, with a focus on modelling and diagramming
- Use Autodesk Revit to create detailed 3D models and construction documents for architectural and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) withing the Biotech and Pharmaceutical space
- Coordinate and interact effectively with project managers, vendors, and engineers across multiple disciplines such as Process Engineering, MEP, etc
- Produce deliverables such as, wiring schematics, I/O diagrams, control panel design, and plan drawings
Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or certification in, Engineering, Drafting, or a related field
- 2-4 years of Revit experience. Must have Advanced working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and typically familiarity with AutoCAD
- 1-2 years of familiarity with Instrumentation and Controls Design
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) standards, clash detection workflows, and file-sharing protocols like BIM360
- Previous experience working in the Biotech/Pharma, Chemical, Food or other process industries is a plus, but not required
- Strongly motivated, well-organized and shows professional initiative
- Takes ownership of assignments, can work both independently and as part of the team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software
