Job Title: AutoCAD Designer

Job Description

This role involves producing highly detailed CAD drawings for material handling equipment, work areas, and material handling components within a large fulfillment network. The designer will create drawings based on existing standards and examples, while also supporting new and future design initiatives. The work includes developing accurate plan views and corresponding elevation views, with a strong emphasis on consistency, clarity, and standardization across facilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can operate independently, take minimal direction, and deliver complete drawing sets that support scalable fulfillment operations.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed CAD drawings for material handling equipment, workspaces, and fulfillment center layouts.
  • Produce plan views and, where required, elevation views with a high level of accuracy and detail.
  • Modify and update drawings based on existing standards, examples, and field conditions.
  • Support design efforts for new initiatives, retrofits, and standardization across facilities.
  • Organize and manage drawings using CAD layers and established drafting standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in a shared project environment.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on CAD experience, primarily focused on AutoCAD.
  • Strong ability to manage layers, drawing standards, and detailed layouts.
  • Associate’s Degree or higher in Drafting, Design, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience producing drawings for warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment center environments.
  • Basic working knowledge of material handling and storage systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Primarily 2D drafting; 3D AutoCAD experience is a plus but not required.
  • Revit experience is a nice to have but not required.

Work Environment

This role follows a hybrid schedule with onsite work in the Bellevue office Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Work is performed in a collaborative environment using BIM 360 and Smartsheets.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $42.00/hr.
