The Role

This individual will play a key role in leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and developing staff. You’ll work closely with firm leadership and have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as the practice continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients
  • Review work performed by staff and seniors
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards
  • Contribute to process improvements and firm growth initiatives

Client Focus

This role will have strong exposure to:

  • Government entities
  • Yellow Book Audits + Schedule of Federal Rewards
  • School systems and educational institutions

(Experience in these areas is highly preferred.)

What They’re Looking For

  • 6–10+ years of public accounting audit experience
  • Experience with government and/or school audits required
  • Strong client-facing and leadership skills
  • CPA preferred
