Personal Injury Associate Attorney (2–5 Years)

Location: Seattle, WA

Compensation: Up to $125,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)


About the Role

A highly regarded Seattle personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join its expanding litigation team. The ideal candidate has strong advocacy skills, a commitment to client service, and the ability to support cases from intake through resolution.

This position offers hands-on litigation experience, mentorship from senior attorneys, and the opportunity to build long-term skills within a fast-growing plaintiff-side practice.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical-related injuries, and general negligence claims.
  • Conduct client intakes and maintain regular client communication.
  • Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
  • Assist senior attorneys with trial preparation and potentially participate at trial depending on experience.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure all deadlines are met.


Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Washington State (active and in good standing).
  • 1–3 years of personal injury experience (plaintiff-side preferred; defense-side considered).
  • Strong legal writing, research, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong client service mindset and communication skills.
