Key Responsibilities
• Manage an independent civil litigation caseload
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Appear in court for hearings and case management conferences
• Participate in trial preparation and litigation strategy
• Work directly with clients on case development
Qualifications
• Active California Bar license required
• 5-10+ years of civil litigation experience
• Strong legal writing and motion practice skills
• Deposition and court/hearing experience preferred
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
Nice to Have :
Experience in general liability defense, construction defect, personal injury, or premises liability.
