Attorney - New Jersey Medical Malpractice Defense

We are a rapidly expanding litigation defense law firm representing major healthcare providers and other businesses in the following practice areas: medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and general liability (premises, construction etc.) The firm is looking for an associate attorney admitted to the New Jersey bar with 2-6 years of civil litigation experience. The firm represents sophisticated clients with high expectations for timely and quality legal work product and maintains a heavy trial schedule. What You Will Do:

  • Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
  • Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
  • Regularly handle court appearances and depositions for the Firm's clients
  • Communicate with clients and provide status reports


What You Will Need:

  • JD from an accredited Law School
  • Admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey; New York bar admission would give the candidate an advantage.
  • 2 to 6 years of litigation experience
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Legal project management experience is helpful
