Attorney

Growing, Midwest-based law firm is seeking a Tort/Subrogation Attorney to join its Milwaukee office. Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of tort and subrogation matters from inception through resolution
• Assess enforcement and recovery strategies on assigned files
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents
• Appear in court for hearings, status conferences, and other proceedings
• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery and case strategy
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders
• Assist with related matters, including collections and post-judgment work as needed

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Experience or exposure to tort and/or subrogation law required (any level considered)
• Litigation experience or familiarity with court procedures preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
