About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join a dynamic litigation-focused law firm in Connecticut. This role offers the opportunity to handle cases end-to-end and take ownership of your work in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage personal injury cases from pre-litigation through trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents
- Conduct legal research and case strategy development
- Take and defend depositions
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers
- Represent clients in court, hearings, and mediations
- Handle Connecticut workers’ compensation cases from start to resolution
- Collaborate with paralegals and legal staff to drive case outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of litigation experience
- Strong background in plaintiff-side personal injury
- Experience with workers’ compensation cases (Connecticut)
- Licensed and in good standing to practice in Connecticut
- Experience with Connecticut state courts (required)
- Strong writing, research, and case management skills
- Confident in client interaction and courtroom settings
Nice to Have
- Federal court experience
- Familiarity with legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis)
- Exposure to trial work
