We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Associate Director of Ecommerce to lead and grow our direct-to-consumer digital business. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for the full online customer journey—from acquisition and site experience to conversion, retention, and post-purchase satisfaction.
You’ll own ecommerce performance, optimize the customer experience, and partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Operations, Finance, and external development teams to drive growth and innovation.
What You’ll Do
Lead Ecommerce Growth
- Own and optimize the Shopify ecosystem, including site performance, navigation, integrations, and customer experience.
- Drive key KPIs including traffic, conversion rate, AOV, repeat purchase rate, and LTV.
- Manage ecommerce budgets across platforms, agencies, and tools.
- Identify opportunities to scale through automation and AI solutions.
Own Site Experience & Conversion
- Deliver a premium, seamless brand experience across homepage, PDPs, collections, and checkout.
- Build and lead a CRO roadmap using A/B testing and data-led experimentation.
- Oversee UX, search, navigation, merchandising, and content updates.
- Lead SEO and emerging AI-search optimization strategies.
Customer Lifecycle & Retention
- Oversee customer service operations and tools such as Gorgias.
- Lead retention strategy across email and SMS (Klaviyo preferred).
- Build lifecycle journeys, segmentation strategies, loyalty, referral, and personalization programs.
Analytics & Leadership
- Own dashboards, reporting, and executive insights across acquisition, retention, merchandising, and conversion.
- Translate data into actionable growth opportunities.
- Manage agency partners and align priorities across internal teams.
- Support omnichannel operations including retail store connectivity and Shopify POS.
What You Bring
Required
- 6+ years of progressive ecommerce experience.
- Deep expertise in Shopify and ecommerce systems/integrations.
- Proven success driving CRO, A/B testing, and digital revenue growth.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Experience with Klaviyo, Gorgias, or similar platforms.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and project management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brands.
- Background in omnichannel retail (DTC + stores).
- Experience working with agencies and developers.
- Familiarity with AI tools and automation platforms.
