At 1-800-Flowers.com, Inc., we are looking for a strategic and analytical leader to join our team as Senior Manager / Director, Capacity Planning & Fulfillment Analytics. This role will be responsible for translating demand forecasts into executable fulfillment strategies that optimize service levels, network capacity, cost efficiency, and customer experience across a large distributed fulfillment network.
This position plays a critical leadership role in aligning forecasted demand with operational readiness, driving allocation strategy, improving same-day fulfillment performance, and delivering actionable insights that strengthen network performance during everyday operations and peak seasonal events.
What You’ll Do
- Lead enterprise-wide capacity planning across partners, markets, delivery dates, and seasonal demand periods
- Translate forecasts into actionable fulfillment plans that improve readiness and reduce service risk
- Drive allocation strategy balancing capacity, service quality, geography, and cost-to-fulfill
- Analyze market and zip-code coverage to identify gaps, underperformance, and optimization opportunities
- Improve same-day fulfillment performance through data-driven recommendations and network flow strategies
- Build scorecards, dashboards, and reporting that provide visibility into network health and KPIs
- Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Merchandising, Finance, Operations, Technology, and Customer teams
- Serve as a control-tower leader during peak holidays and high-volume events, helping manage constraints and real-time decisions
- Lead post-event reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen future execution
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in capacity planning, fulfillment analytics, supply chain, operations strategy, network planning, or related fields
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to turn data into business decisions
- Advanced Excel skills required; SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, or similar tools preferred
- Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
- Proven success operating in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in eCommerce, retail, marketplace, delivery, logistics, or perishable goods environments preferred

The expected salary range for this position is $145,000 to $160,000 yearly. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
