A premier, nationally recognized Illinois personal injury and medical malpractice law firm are currently seeking a high-caliber Associate to join their dedicated medical malpractice team in Chicago. They pride themselves on elite advocacy and a "trial-ready" approach to every case.

This is not a general personal injury position. They are looking for a seasoned litigator who specializes in high-stakes plaintiff medical malpractice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex medical negligence files from intake through to verdict or significant settlement.

Key Requirements

• 5–10 years of heavy plaintiff-side litigation experience.
• A primary focus on medical malpractice (birth injuries, surgical errors, failure to diagnose, etc.).
• Must have significant "first or second chair" trial experience with a demonstrable history of successful recoveries and high-value settlements.
• Ability to parse complex medical records, collaborate with expert witnesses, and navigate the technical intricacies of Illinois medical malpractice law.
• Exceptional deposition, briefing, and oral advocacy skills.
