Associate Attorney – Personal Injury Defense Litigation

$110,000–$130,000 CIRCA

A well‑established Central Florida law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of litigation experience to join its Personal Injury Defense practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a personal injury defense caseload with partner guidance
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
• Analyze liability, damages, and case strategy
• Take and defend depositions
• Attend hearings, mediations, conferences, and trials as needed
• Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and courts
• Maintain organized files and track deadlines

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Florida Bar membership
• 2–4 years of civil litigation experience
• Experience in personal injury defense, bodily injury, premises liability, or similar litigation
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple matters

Preferred:

• Experience with depositions, mediations, and motion practice
• Familiarity with legal research tools and litigation management systems

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary $110,000–$120,000, based on experience
