Kane, Pugh, Knoell, Troy & Kramer, LLP—a highly regarded civil litigation defense firm with five decades of legal excellence—is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with up to three years of relevant experience to join our Blue Bell office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney eager to handle a diverse caseload, gain hands-on litigation experience, and grow within a collaborative, well-established team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to discovery requests
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Represent clients in court at hearings, conferences, and trials
- Maintain regular communication with clients, including insurance carriers, and provide strategic legal counsel
- Effectively manage case files and meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Graduate of an ABA-approved law school with a J.D.
- Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania (PA/NJ dual license preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
- Strong writing and oral advocacy skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to manage a varied and independent caseload
