Key Responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of personal injury cases from initial intake through resolution
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and strategic guidance
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement demands
• Conduct legal research and support case strategy development
• Manage discovery processes, including written discovery and document review
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and other litigation-related activities
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes
• Maintain organized case files and ensure adherence to deadlines

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license and good standing to practice law in Alabama
• 1–3 years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation preferred
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting
• Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and service
