Associate Attorney

Connell Foley is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate with 4 years of experience to join our New York office. Candidates must be admitted in New Jersey and New York. Candidates must possess strong academic credentials, research capabilities as well as writing and deposition skills.

The ideal candidate should have experience in one or more of the following practice areas:

• Personal Injury Defense
• Complex Casualty Litigation
• Mass and Toxic Tort Litigation
• Product Liability and Tort Litigation
• Aviation
• Commercial Litigation

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• JD from an ABA accredited law school;
• Experience preparing pleadings and discovery; taking and defending depositions; drafting and arguing motions; identifying the appropriate strategies for handling cases; working with experts; and communicating with clients.
• Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• Work well independently as well as effectively within a team;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, and oral and written communication skills.
