Key Responsibilities
- Handle a diverse caseload with a focus on medical malpractice defense
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda with strong writing and analytical skills
- Conduct depositions, court appearances, and discovery
- Work collaboratively with partners, clients, and experts
- Contribute to case strategy from inception through resolution
- Represent clients in state and federal courts in Connecticut
Ideal Candidate Profile
A strong candidate brings:
- 1–10 years of medical malpractice defense OR broader litigation experience
- Admission to practice in Connecticut
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
- Strong courtroom presence and professional demeanor
- A collaborative approach and positive attitude
Compensation & Benefits
- $85,000 – $150,000 base compensation (dependent on experience)
- Bonus: $50/hour for billables above 1,800 collected hours
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite
