Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation Defense (Hybrid)

Prominent full-service law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Defense Attorney for their growing Newark, New Jersey office. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of litigation experience in ANY of the following areas: General Liability, Construction Defect Litigation, Premises Liability, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Product Liability, Municipal, Medical Malpractice, Transportation, Auto, Professional Liability, Labor & Employment, Habitability, Tort, Insurance Defense, Environmental/Toxic Tort.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the leading trial attorneys in the country! You will have ownership of your cases and have a diverse caseload.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned cases
• Handle cases from inception to conclusion
• Take and defend depositions
• Make court appearances
• Draft motions, pleadings and respond to discovery

Qualifications:

• Pre-trial experience
• Strong research and writing skills
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
• Licensed to practice and in good standing in New Jersey is required. Additional licenses in PA or NY is a plus!

Base Salary Range 120k-175k+ Monthly & Annual Bonuses + Benefits + Hybrid work schedule.
