Assistant Vice President, Global Tax Operations
Santa Clara, California
We have been exclusively retained by a global leader in life sciences, diagnostics, and laboratory technologies, to identify an Assistant Vice President, Global Tax Operations.
This is a “Top 1%” leadership opportunity within a sophisticated global tax organization. For a high-caliber professional, the prize is twofold: the chance to lead a sophisticated global function for a multi-billion-dollar enterprise, and the opportunity to exert boardroom-level influence on a platform that spans manufacturing, IP, and high-growth digital business lines.
If you are a tax strategist who views complexity as a chessboard versus a hurdle to overcome in a shifting landscape, this might be your next move:
- You operate at the strategic and execution levels while owning tax operations and helping drive tax-efficient business decisions.
- Every tax-efficient strategy you implement and every audit you resolve directly supports the R&D and diagnostic technologies that ensure food safety, environmental health, and the fight against cancer.
- You partner directly with finance, treasury, legal, supply chain, and senior leadership to ensure tax is embedded in key business decisions.
- Beyond the technical, you have a moral mandate to mentor and develop a high-performing team within a culture that deeply values internal mobility.
- You anticipate how you will stay ahead of the curve: Navigate complex international legal entities and aggressive M&A activity, while architecting tax strategies for an evolving global landscape and a growing digital footprint
