Assistant Store Director – Brand Experience


We’re looking for an Assistant Store Director (ASD) of Brand Experience who has a strong eye for style and storytelling, and is responsible for how the Edikted brand comes to life inside the store.

This role ensures the full in-store expression of the brand - from visual merchandising and product storytelling to event, activations, and experiential moments. You’ll ensure the store is not only visually compelling, but also commercially effective.


As part of the flagship leadership team, you’ll operate within a high-volume, multi-dimensional environment, partnering closely with the Store Director, and cross-functionally to create a cohesive, high-impact customer experience.


What You’ll Do


As ASD of Brand Experience, you are responsible for how the product is presented and experienced in-store, while supporting the sales floor in an Assistant Store Director capacity.


Own the In-Store Brand Experience

  • Lead all aspects of visual merchandising and product presentation across the store
  • Translate brand direction into a store experience that is inspiring, clear, and commercially strong
  • Drive product placement strategies that maximize sales, and continuously evolve the environment to reflect newness, trends, and customer behavior
  • Own the planning and execution of in-store events, activations, and other key brand moments
  • Partner cross functionally on influencer visits, launches, and community-driven experiences
  • Ensure the store is always event-ready and able to execute high-visibility moments seamlessly


Drive Results Through Product Storytelling and Merchandising

  • Use product performance, trends, and customer insight to inform merchandising decisions
  • Ensure product placement supports both customer discovery, and conversion
  • Partner with leadership to support floor sets, launches, and in-season updates with speed, precision, and strong attention to detail
  • Balance creativity with commercial impact - making sure great visuals also drive results


Lead & Develop the Brand Experience Team

  • Directly manage and develop the Brand Experience Lead(s) and other team members within your area of ownership
  • Train and coach team members on visual standards, styling, and product presentation to ensure consistency across the store
  • Set clear standards for execution while encouraging creativity within brand guidelines
  • Create and maintain accountability around visual merchandising consistency, quality, and speed


Support Total Store Success

  • Partner closely with People & Culture, and Operations teams to ensure alignment, and that brand initiatives supports the customer experience
  • Lead by example on the sales floor as a visible, hands-on leader-on-duty
  • Create an environment of high standards and execution where the teams can focus on the customer because the brand experience is running smoothly


Who You Are


  • An experienced retail leader with 2+ years of experience in a Store Manager role, or 5+ years of experience in a high-volume, high-complexity Assistant Store Manager role
  • Strong background in visual merchandising, styling, and brand presentation
  • Creative with a strong eye for fashion, product, trends, and what resonates with the customer
  • Able to balance creativity with commercial thinking; organized, detail-oriented, and execution focused
  • A strong hands-on coach who is highly present on the floor
  • Energetic, engaging, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and ready to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Tech-savvy and confident using retail systems and tools
