A well-maintained residential property in Edgewater is seeking a Temporary Assistant Property Manager to join its team from June 15th through the end of August. This fully onsite opportunity offers a pay rate of $20/hour and is ideal for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional interested in gaining hands-on experience within residential property management. Working closely with the Property Manager, this individual will support daily operations, resident communication, administrative tasks, vendor coordination, and general property management functions to help ensure a positive living experience for residents and smooth property operations. Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager:

  • Support daily property management operations for a residential community while assisting with administrative and resident service functions
  • Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for residents, vendors, and prospective tenants
  • Assist with resident inquiries, maintenance requests, move-ins, move-outs, and general lease administration activities
  • Maintain accurate records, resident files, correspondence, and property-related documentation with strong attention to detail
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and outside vendors to ensure timely completion of work orders and property needs
  • Assist with rent collection tracking, invoice processing, and other administrative reporting responsibilities as needed
  • Support property inspections, community initiatives, and special projects while contributing to a positive resident experience


Qualifications of the Assistant Property Manager:

  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field
  • Previous administrative, customer service, hospitality, leasing, or property management experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and customer-focused demeanor
  • Dependable, punctual, and available to work onsite in Edgewater from June 15th through the end of August
  • Motivated and adaptable professional with a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
