The Women’s Resource Center is seeking a full-time graduate assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year with the possibility of continuing through a second year. The graduate Assistant must have earned a bachelor’s degree. This person will work under the supervision of the WRC Program Coordinator. The GA will provide event programming, teaching, facilitations, and administrative support for The Women’s Resource Center within the Office of Access and Opportunity. The GA will focus on implementing and managing the WRC Educational Programs. Other responsibilities include office support, event development and facilitation, managing student-led programs, fundraising, assessing WRC Program standards, and other duties as assigned by the WRC Program Coordinator and the Director of the Office of Access and Opportunity.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of athletic health care and athletic training program development, typically acquired through the completion of a Master's degree in athletic training or a related field, is necessary.
Certification by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer is required.
Must possess or be eligible for Athletic Trainer License in Michigan.
Experience as an athletic trainer at the collegiate or professional sports level is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preceptor experience within an athletic training education program is preferred.
Certified membership in good standing with the National Athletic Trainers Association is preferred.
Special Instructions:
There are two openings for this role: one will support the Track and Field team, and the other will support the Women’s Soccer team.
