The hourly rate for this position is 20.00 per hour per hour. The hours for the shift are as follows; 6:45 am - 3:15 pm.


Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.


Primary Function:

Sets up equipment, prepares compounds and processes a variety of assemblies, such as standard connectors and special connectors following written and verbal instructions.


Essential Functions:

• Setup equipment to meet product standards for identification, shell painting, retainer loading, contact painting, wire cutting, riveting, contact crimping and contact hooding.

• Weigh, mix and identify items such as inks, paints, adhesives, molding compounds and potting materials.

• Able to interface with customers if necessary.

• Follow intermediate drawings and procedures.

• Perform connector assemblies.

• Perform work with limited to no supervision.

• Work in a safe manner and perform housekeeping duties to maintain safe work environment. Assure proper maintenance of a safe and clean work area.

• Stage materials for shipment as required.


Qualifications:


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in related mechanical manufacturing assembly operations
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of Oxnard will be considered for this position.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Required Qualifications:



  • Ability to read, follow and understand verbal instruction, product/ process specifications, drawings, and work orders in English
  • Ability to use calculators
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. and handle components and assemblies using bending, reaching, and twisting body movements; in addition to use of hand tools
  • Ability to recognize and inform supervision of assembly problems and equipment breakdown
  • Good manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate parts
