Job Summary:

Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) is seeking a highly skilled and professional American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to join our team. You will provide critical sign language interpretation services for Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, including senior leaders and individuals who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. This role operates in a variety of high-stakes, professional environments such as conferences, high-level meetings, and sensitive discussions. You will be a key part of ensuring effective communication across the DoD.


Key Responsibilities:

* Provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation in both ASL and spoken English.

* Handle complex and technical subject matter common in a DoD environment.

* Maintain the highest degree of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality.

* Adhere to the RID Code of Professional Conduct.


Hiring Authority:
