Job Title: Application Support Analyst I

Overview
The Application Support Analyst I (ASA I) provides Tier 1–2 technical and functional support for enterprise business applications, with a primary focus on Yardi property management systems. This role is responsible for maintaining day-to-day application operations, including troubleshooting, access management, routine configuration, and supporting system releases.
Working under moderate supervision, the ASA I collaborates with cross-functional teams including Finance, Property Operations, IT, and external vendors to ensure systems remain stable, secure, and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Application Support (Tier 1–2)
- Provide support for enterprise applications, including property management and document platforms
- Manage service desk intake, ticket triage, prioritization, and routing
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues; escalate complex problems as needed
- Coordinate with vendors to log and track system issues through resolution
- Administer user access and permissions in accordance with established standards
- Conduct access reviews and support audit processes
- Execute data corrections with proper validation and documentation
- Maintain knowledge base articles, runbooks, and operational documentation
Business Cycle Support
- Assist with key business processes such as budgeting cycles, data validation, and reporting workflows
Configuration & Maintenance
- Perform minor configuration updates and workflow adjustments
- Maintain role templates and support segregation-of-duties compliance
- Ensure data accuracy across systems
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors on larger system updates
Testing & Release Management
- Execute regression and smoke testing for system updates and releases
- Participate in release planning, deployment coordination, and communication efforts
- Assist with change management processes and documentation
Qualifications & Expectations:
- Experience: 1–3+ years supporting enterprise applications in an IT environment
- Experience with Yardi is a PLUS!
- Technical Knowledge:
- Yard, Box, Docusign
- Basic understanding of ERP systems and application workflows
- Familiarity with user access controls and data integrity practices
- Working knowledge of SQL for queries and data validation
- Compliance & Security: Understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, and data privacy principles
- Documentation: Ability to create and follow clear technical documentation
- Vendor Coordination: Experience working with external vendors for issue resolution
