Job Title: Apparel Production Coordinator / Assistant (PLUS IF SPEAK ENGLISH AND CHINESE)

For Her NYC is a leading women's wear company dedicated to creating high-quality garments. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apparel Production Coordinator NOT SEEKING A GRAPHIC DESIGNER / Assistant to join our team immediately.

Position Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in apparel production or a related field- Must have a thorough understanding of apparel production processes, including garment construction techniques, fabric sourcing, and manufacturing methods, is essential for an Apparel Production Coordinator. Must stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to optimize production efficiency.
• Strong background in women's clothing construction and development
• Bilingual (English + Chinese) is a must
• Strong technical background in garment construction
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer savvy
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
• Must be able to work in our office Monday to Friday
• Able to proactively identify issues, provide creative solution options, and work collaboratively to resolve issues

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the design and technical design teams
• Communicate with overseas factories regarding pricing, minimum quantities, samples, sample ready dates, trims, fabric, and more
• Track samples throughout the product development to production stages and provide updates to factories on pending samples
• Regularly send swatches, fabric, and samples to vendors
• Possess strong garment knowledge and be able to create tech packs as needed
