We are Go Gently Nation, an organic fashion brand specializing in childrenswear but also produce a womens line and carry a wide range of natural home & lifestyle brands in our shops. We manufacture our clothing here in Los Angeles and do all design and development in house as well as production planning in house at our studio in Redondo Beach.
We are looking for an Apparel Design Assistant to assist our designer with various projects from sample cutting, pattern work, production planning, trim pulling, spec sheets, cut tickets, collection planning etc. The hours vary based on the seasons and when collections are in process but position will start as 1-2 days a week.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have experience with clothing construction, cutting samples, photoshop & adobe illustrator fluent and must have general apparel industry knowledge. Patternmaking & grading experience a plus.
