Labcorp is seeking a hybrid Administrative Specialist to join our team at 531 S Spring Street, Burlington, NC.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am - 5pm Eastern Time. This schedule includes a minimum of three in-office days per week and two days working remotely, supporting both collaboration and flexibility

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex and frequently changing calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference calls for senior leadership within the Corporate Secretary Office, reporting directly to the Executive Office and Corporate Governance Senior Manager and supporting the Corporate Secretary/Assistant Secretary roles,

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, prepare detailed itineraries, and support logistics for meetings and events.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, exercising sound judgment in triaging and prioritizing requests.

  • Maintain and organize confidential files, records, and documentation in accordance with company policies.

  • Prepare and submit timely, accurate expense reports in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

  • Distribute mail and ensure timely handling of all incoming and outgoing communications.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events, including team meetings, executive briefings, and special projects.

  • Prepare meeting agendas, compile materials, and support follow-up actions as needed.

  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of administrative experience in a corporate environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree

  • 5 years experience supporting senior management

Additional Job Standards:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.

  • Experience with Concur and PeopleSoft

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills; able to draft correspondence and reports for executive audiences.

  • Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review complex documentation.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in anticipating needs.

  • Proficient in AI-enable productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to streamline administrative processes and improve productivity and accuracy

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and operate with a high sense of urgency.

  • Strong organization, follow up and prioritization skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects.

The Administrative Specialist provides high-level administrative support to senior leadership within the Corporate Secretary Office, reporting directly to the Executive Office and Corporate Governance Senior Manager and supporting the Corporate Secretary/Assistant Secretary roles, ensuring seamless coordination of schedules, communications, and operational tasks. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
