Job Title: Admin Assistant/Accounting Clerk

Location: Cerritos, CA 90703

Pay Rate: $22 - $23 per hour on W2

Duration: Contract Role (Possibly Temp to Hire)

Provide essential administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations. This role handles mail processing, document management, data entry, and general office coordination while supporting managers and staff across departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail, including sorting, distribution, and shipments (FedEx).
  • Prepare and process deposits, including remote deposit capture and data entry.
  • Support front desk operations, including answering phones and acting as backup receptionist.
  • Scan, copy, file, and maintain accurate records of documents and invoices.
  • Assist Accounts Payable with invoice processing and document organization.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and enter banking and financial data.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing reports, correspondence, and special projects.
  • Organize and archive accounting records, including year-end files.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Professional communication and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work both independently and collaboratively.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • 1–3 years of office or administrative experience.
  • Medical industry experience is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Office-based role requiring regular use of computers and standard office equipment, with occasional coordination across departments.
