Job Description – Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Care

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (4x12 hours)

Guaranteed Hours: 48/week

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care to newborn through geriatric populations in accordance with hospital policies and the Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act. The RN practices independently, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and provides oversight to LPNs and ancillary staff while ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality care.

Education Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma, OR
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN), OR
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)


Licensure & Certifications

  • Active Registered Nurse License – Massachusetts
  • BLS (AHA) – Required
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP – Required


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Meditech EHR systems

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
