As such, North Park Ventures is seeking to fill the Acquisition Associate role with an experienced commercial real estate professional who has at least 3 years of experience. The position will require direct collaboration with senior leadership and across an array of teams to assist with responsibilities including but not limited to sourcing acquisition opportunities, underwriting and modeling, creating offering memorandums and financial presentation materials, leading due diligence efforts, and supporting senior leadership as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Secure new acquisition opportunities through networking, prospecting, and existing relationships
- Establish and maintain a full acquisitions pipeline with detailed information for each opportunity
- Underwrite and model new acquisition opportunities using our proprietary models
- Lead due diligence efforts on secured acquisitions
- Research new markets, conduct rent and sale comparable studies, and analyze demographic trends
- Facilitate the composition of marketing materials for new investment opportunities, including executive summaries and offering memoranda
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical skills, including an acute sense of problem-solving
- Adept communication skills in both written and oral formats to effectively communicate
- Solid understanding of real estate principles, including property types, market dynamics, supply and demand drivers, and investment strategies
- Keen attention to detail in various tasks, such as reviewing due diligence materials
- High-caliber organizational skills to manage various projects at one time and execute required deliveries in a timely manner
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues from various departments
- Commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with regulatory requirements, including adherence to industry standards and best practices in real estate asset management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably finance, marketing, or sales)
- Relevant work experience in commercial real estate acquisitions or brokerage, as well as demonstrating a high aptitude for financial analysis and data interpretation.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for investment valuation and reporting, namely Microsoft Office.
- Based in Chicago, IL, or willing to relocate
