Accounts Receivable Specialist (42449)

Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of related experience, highly organized and analytical mindset.

The salary range for this position is $60k-70k.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process and apply incoming payments to customer accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reviews delinquent accounts to determine collections of overdue accounts.
• Review A/R aging reports for assigned customers.
• Work internally with sales and office staff on past due accounts.
• Make telephone calls requesting payment from customers, when necessary.
• Provide support for and collaborate with Accounting Operations Supervisor or Accounts Receivable Lead.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
