Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client is a growing government contractor in the DMV adding an Accounts Payable Specialist to their corporate finance team. What You Will Do

• Process high volume vendor invoices in Costpoint with accurate direct and indirect cost coding
• Review POs, receiving documentation, and project allocations for allowability
• Support weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliations
• Maintain vendor files, W 9s, COIs, and SAM.gov compliance documentation
• Partner with PMs to ensure proper job costing across active contracts
• Assist with month end close, accruals, and audit ready documentation
• Gain exposure to AI driven AP automation including Dela

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of AP experience with GovCon experience strongly preferred
• Hands on experience with Deltek Costpoint (any exposure to Dela is a huge plus)
• Strong understanding of 3 way match and project cost coding
• High attention to detail and comfort working in a compliance driven environment
