Job Title: Payables Specialist

Location: Midvale, UT 84047 (On-site)

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Contract Length: 13 weeks (with possibility of extension)

Estimated Start Date: May 18, 2026

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

The Payables Specialist will support the Accounts Payable team by performing accurate data entry and validating invoice information within accounting systems. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent data entry skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced administrative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume data entry in an Accounts Payable environment
• Validate and review invoice data for accuracy and completeness
• Identify and detect errors and make necessary corrections
• Accurately enter invoice information into accounting systems
• Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy
• Utilize dual monitors efficiently to manage workflow and documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with data validation and error detection/correction
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working with dual monitors
• Ability to work in a structured administrative or accounting environment

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
