Accountant

• Manage invoicing, post customer receipts, and reconcile short payments and deductions
• Process vendor bills, secure approvals, and prepare weekly payment proposals for review
• Prepare and distribute monthly broker commission statements
• Analyze trade spend activity and audit/verify billbacks for accuracy and compliance
• Record journal entries for prepaids, depreciation, accruals, and other general ledger activity
• Assist with account reconciliations and support month-end close processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with 5+ years of accounting or audit experience (CPA a plus)
• Experience in CPG accounting, including strong knowledge of trade spend and deductions
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with advanced Excel skills and experience in accounting systems (NetSuite preferred)
