Role Description

The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between the pharmacy and their client communities. This role ensures client satisfaction through proactive relationship management, education, and issue resolution. The Account Manager collaborates closely with internal pharmacy operations, nursing/pharmacy consultants, and facility leadership to deliver exceptional pharmacy services tailored to each community’s needs.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business or related field – preferred.
  • Familiarity with assisted living and skilled nursing facility operations – preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • Proven experience effectively troubleshooting and solving customer issues in a positive and pro-active manner, while abiding by the pharmacy scope of practice and capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and follow-up abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, Outlook, and CRM systems.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to deadlines.
  • Ability to travel regionally to client facilities as required.
