WAM is a family-owned business that has been in business for 40 years. We work with 24 c-store distributor partners and over 70 of the top manufacturers. Our distributors represent $12B in sales, and supply 25,000 c-stores across the United States. WAM offers the most complete convenience store solution on the market. We provide a single source to design, implement, and execute programs

on a national basis that align to our manufacturers’ strategic priorities. We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and talented Account Manager to become a permanent and integral part of our team.

The Account Manager will handle the everyday activities of managing WAM distributor and manufacturer partner relationships, as well as provide support to the senior account management team.


Responsibilities:

• Manage certain distributor and manufacturer account relationships

• Work collaboratively with manufacturer partners to grow sales by developing programs, 

implementing sales goals, and monitoring ongoing progress towards those goals

• Lead monthly business reviews with distributors and manufacturers

• Analyze sales and distribution data to identify opportunities

• Facilitate solutions to issues that arise with manufacturers

• Collaborate with Account Directors to help grow sales, achieve program goals, and maximize 

earnings

• Provide support to Data Analysts and complete certain reporting requests

• Attend industry and distributor trade shows to strengthen WAM relationships


Experience / Qualifications / Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field (preferred)

• 3+ years of experience in account management

• Preferred background in convenience/small format channel

• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

• History of working well within a team

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking 

skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and task 

delegation

• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Strong Excel skills

• This is a remote position with up to 30% travel
