The Company

Dak Dynamics is a Tuscaloosa-based ITAD and electronics recycling company. We work with enterprises, municipalities, and institutions across Alabama and the surrounding region to process their end-of-life IT equipment.


Role

This is Dak Dynamics’ first full time dedicated sales hire. You own the full sales cycle from first touch to signed contract. Outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, pipeline development, proposal generation, negotiation, and closing. You work directly with the CEO.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and in-person visits across central Alabama and the surrounding region
  • Manage inbound leads from digital ad campaigns, the website, and referrals
  • Run discovery calls to scope opportunities, understand client needs, and match them to the right service.
  • Draft and send proposals, negotiate terms, and close contracts
  • Own the CRM: pipeline stages, deal tracking, follow-up cadence, activity logging
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients for repeat business, upsells, and referrals
  • Develop partnerships with adjacent businesses
  • Coordinate with operations on pickup scheduling, settlement timelines, and client deliverables
  • Represent the company at municipal meetings, industry events, and community events as needed

Required

  • 1+ years of sales experience with a track record of closing deals
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-directed. Pipeline hygiene, follow-up discipline, and CRM usage must happen proactively
  • Bias toward action. 50 calls and lessons learned beats a week spent perfecting a slide deck nobody asked for.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally for client meetings and site visits


Preferred

  • Sales experience in IT services, waste or environmental services, SaaS, or government procurement
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, AI tools, and sales automation
  • Experience selling to government or institutional buyers (RFPs, procurement cycles, multi-stakeholder deals)
  • Existing network in the Alabama business community
  • Understanding of IT equipment, data security, or electronics recycling 


Compensation

  • Base salary plus commission with uncapped earning potential tied to the Gross Profit you bring in
  • Potential minority equity stake
