Job Description
The Account Executive position at ASC Global is a full-time, on-site role located in Tamarac, Florida.
ASC Global is a leading independent distributor of electronic components, serving OEMs, contract manufacturers, and technology firms worldwide since 1996. We are seeking an ambitious Account Executive to drive our growth in the global markets. This is a hunter role designed for a proactive sales professional who thrives on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and closing complex B2B deals in the electronic components and industrial equipment supply chain.

Responsibilities:
- Making minimum of 50 outbound calls to prospects and develop new accounts.
- Using discretion and proper discernment in negotiating with the customer to close sales orders while maintaining appropriate business margins.
- Learning and executing the sales order process, running a full desk of clients.
- Maintaining and adhering to appropriate sales metrics and business requirements, including daily phone time and new prospect development.
- Maintaining and improving customer relationships.
- Learning and remaining current on market conditions, including customer/vendor base and their availability and requirements, pricing, and competitive alternatives.
- Developing and implementing strategic sales programs at key accounts.
- Learning and adhering to credit requirements.
- Consistently maintaining and accurately updating the information database.
- Working jointly with Sales team, Commodity Managers, Sales Managers, Order Management, Asset recovery group, ASC's regional offices, and purchasing to ensure full customer service and improve sell-side opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of B2B product sales experience preferred
- Professional, creative, and dynamic presence.
- Relentless drive and hunger for sales.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English. (Bonus points for an additional language!)
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels in the organization.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills.
- Works well independently and in a team environment.
- Outgoing and motivated personality.
