Our client is an AI-native platform that automates claims communications for insurance carriers.


THE OPPORTUNITY This is their 2nd dedicated AE hire. Now they need someone to own the motion, build the muscle, and scale it. You won't be handed a territory and a Salesforce instance with 10 years of data. You'll be handed a real product, early traction, a founder who can still close alongside you, and the latitude to figure out what great looks like.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own the full sales cycle — from outbound prospecting through close — targeting insurance carriers, TPAs, MGAs, and reinsurers
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals across claims leadership, operations, compliance, and IT
  • Partner closely with the founder on strategy, deal progression, and customer feedback loops
  • Help define and document the sales process — ICP, talk tracks, objection handling, deal stages
  • Represent the company at industry events, build relationships in the insurance vertical
  • Feed product and market intelligence back to the team — you'll have a direct line to the people building the product


WHO FITS

  • 5–10 years in B2B SaaS sales — you've carried a bag and hit quota
  • Experience selling into regulated industries — insurance, healthtech, fintech, legaltech — where compliance is a buyer concern, not a footnote
  • Comfortable with technical buyers and complex workflows — you can hold your own in a room with IT and ops
  • Thrives in ambiguity — you don't need a fully built machine to perform
  • Process-minded — you document what you learn and help build what comes next
  • NYC-based and in-office — energy matters early at a startup
