About The Role
We are partnering with a global leader in third-party logistics and supply chain solutions to hire an Associate Operations Coordinator. This role supports high-volume transportation and logistics operations by ensuring shipments move efficiently, accurately, and on time. Job Description
As an Associate Operations Coordinator, you will support daily transportation operations while maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency. Working within established processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs), you will assist with shipment execution, data accuracy, and customer and carrier communication.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Provide shipment status updates and operational support to customers and carriers
- Create and manage transportation orders, activate shipments, and build and assign loads
- Schedule pickup and delivery appointments
- Track and trace shipments, document shipment events, and process invoicing
- Monitor task boards and assigned email queues to respond to customer and carrier requests
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in internal systems in accordance with company and customer standards
- Follow documented SOPs, escalation procedures, and training guidelines
- Follow through on customer and carrier requests to ensure satisfaction, escalating issues when appropriate
- Support additional responsibilities as assigned based on team or regional needs
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends (for select roles)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Customer service experience in a call center or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Experience in roles requiring high accuracy and data integrity
- Commitment to working in a diverse and inclusive environment
