Job Title: 1st Shift Receiving Clerk
Job Description

Join a dynamic distribution company specializing in automotive parts as a receiving clerk/warehouse worker for a long-term position. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, focusing on receiving, restocking, and dispatch processes.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and restock inventory accurately and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks.
  • Utilize RF scanners and rolling stairs to fulfill orders.
  • Break down boxes and package items for shipment.
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed.
  • Pick orders using stairs to reach material for the automotive industry.
  • Package items for shipment.
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in using RF scanners and order pickers.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, and 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Comfortable utilizing rolling safety ladders with 5-7 steps, and occasionally a 15-foot stair ladder.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Able to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in shipping and receiving.
  • Self-motivated and able to work individually.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is lively, with high noise levels due to running forklifts and machinery. The position is first shift, Monday through Friday, from 5 AM to 1:30 PM, with potential overtime and occasional Saturdays. Dress code includes a plain shirt, jeans without holes, and closed-toe shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
