1st Shift Production

Join our dynamic team as a Shift Production Worker, where you will be responsible for operating blending machines, ensuring the quality of products, and preparing items for shipment. This role involves physical activity, including lifting and stacking bags of products, and requires attention to detail and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate blending machines to dispense powder into bags.
• Palletize bags for continuous shipment.
• Lift and stack bags weighing 50+ lbs throughout the day.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality meets standards.
• Weigh bags on a scale to ensure the correct amount is dispensed.
• Perform basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

• Experience in production and food manufacturing.
• General labor skills.
• Forklift operation.
• Basic packaging and operation skills.

• Six months of experience in a manufacturing or factory setting.
• Experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Prior forklift experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn forklift operation.

Work Environment

Work in an open production environment, adhering to safety protocols by wearing a hair net, gloves, and steel-toed boots. Gloves and hair nets are provided, while you must supply your own steel-toed boots, which should remain in your locker at the facility. You will work in a blending room with 1-2 other team members, operating equipment to fill and seal bags, which requires repeated lifting and moving of 50 lbs bags throughout the shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SLEEPY EYE, MN.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
