YouTube Script Writer

We are a YouTube first startup working with top brands and entertainment channels to build high performance, format driven content. Our team is made up of some of the brightest YouTube creative minds in the industry, with billions of views across the channels we’ve helped grow.

We are searching for YouTube writers with a deep understanding of the platform and creator ecosystem.

This is not traditional scriptwriting. This is YouTube format writing.

You will:

• Participate in ideation sessions with our creative team
• Write scripts in the style of high performance channels. 
• Optimize cold opens, mechanics, and stakes to drive retention
• Create and ideate new formats and series from scratch

• You have experience writing for a large YouTube channel or working closely with a major creator’s creative team
• You have a deep understanding of YouTube format structure, retention strategy, and trends
• You actively study top performing creators and understand why their formats work
• You are highly adaptable and comfortable working in fast moving production environments
• Based in Southern California is a strong plus
